Saturday is here and you are living your weekend. You are thankful that you can relax after that “hectic” week that passed by like a whirlwind.
You are probably having a “me” time today asking yourself questions and reflecting a lot of things that went by…
Why would you care if the earth is round or not? how does it matter to you… Right?
Well, you may find it hard to believe but the discussion about earth shape has been hot lately like never been in the history…
This is also a very touchy subject for many… Who would go against the education after all? But then the shape of the earth is connected with many notions we have about ourselves and the world we live in…
You will know what I mean in a moment.
The round shape of earth fits well with the “scientific” explanation of how this universe was created…
In short it was a stroke of “chance” an “accident” that this universe was created… and you are essentially part of that “accident” a speck in the mighty universe.
Does that explanation “ease” you up?
Yes, it does…it’s a perfect explanation to enjoy the Saturday Slumber right? The universe is an accident earth is a fragment and you got to start your 9-5 grind starting Monday!
Do you see the catch? The shape of the earth is connected very deeply with what we believe about ourselves…

Do you consider yourself in a “chance” existence or you are here for a meaning.
An urge to answer that question is your first tryst with the bigger conscience you have. That you keep switched off so that you can touch the end of “grind” every day.
Nobody forced you into this…you were just “schooled” and “educated” and then you just went on did what everybody did.
Is there a problem with that? No, Not if you don’t feel so…
But if you read this far either you get what I mean or maybe you want to “judge” what I am talking about…
For whatever reason, you read this…There is much much more about this world and ourselves to be known, questioned and discussed…
Strangely if you start a journey of self-discovery a whole world will open in front of you… You will have venture out of your textbooks, beliefs, perception and the ultimate comfort.
The idea of everything known and understood helps calm our nerves. We have an explanation for everything and if you are happy with that…Good for you!
But if you are someone who always feels a discomfort about what you do… the way you spend your life and think you are not getting enough out of it… There is a big chance you will outperform yourself.
But do something about it today. The weekend is a good time to reflect what you want from this life. Get on with it and possibly build on that.
No one and nothing in this world is an “accident” everything has a meaning and intent. Listen with curiosity, Learn with enthusiasm, Discover yourself and do more!
